Calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) is an effective derivative of conventional ammonium nitrate that contains calcium available for crop nutrition. The product has a balanced nitrogen source, containing both nitrate and ammonium forms. The nitrate form of nitrogen ensures rapid growth at the early stages of crop development, while the ammonium form provides sustained delivery of nitrogen to plants.
Calcium contributes to crop quality and enhances the shelf life of produce.
